Otoshidama: New Year Money in a Tiny Envelope — Epoche A1
Dear Grandmother, Thank you for my otoshidama, the New Year money in a little envelope. On 1 January I got four envelopes. One from you, one from Grandfather, one from my aunt and one from my uncle. They are very small. My name is written on the front of each one. Inside, the notes were new and flat. They did not bend. Mother put most of the money in the bank for me. I kept some. I am saving for a bicycle. A small envelope is not a small present. Thank you very much. Love, Yuki
