In Japan, a business card, a small card with your name and company on it, is given and taken with two hands. How to do it Hold the card by the two top corners. Turn the name to face the other person. Give it, and bow a little. Take their card with two hands too. Read it. Say the name. Put it on the table in front of you, not in your pocket. Many people put a card away without looking. Here, the card is the person's face. You keep it in front of you until they go.
