Gimbap: Oil and Salt, No Vinegar — Epoche A1
Gimbap for the Team Picnic It looks like a Japanese roll. It is not. The difference is in the rice. Ingredients (four rolls) 4 sheets of dried seaweed 3 bowls of warm rice 1 spoon of sesame oil, and salt egg, carrot, spinach, yellow radish — in long strips Method Mix the warm rice with the sesame oil and the salt. No vinegar. Sushi rice takes vinegar; gimbap rice takes oil and salt. Put rice on the seaweed. Lay the strips in a line. Roll it tight. Cut into pieces. Brush the outside with a little sesame oil. It shines. Four rolls, cut small, feed six at the office picnic.
