Dear María, Good news — the list for the posadas is ready. This year our house has the night of 18 December. You know how it goes: nine nights, from 16 to 24 December, one house each night. The neighbours come to the door with candles and sing. The people outside ask for a room, like Mary and Joseph. The family inside sings no — two times, three times — and then the door opens, and everybody comes in for hot ponche. Can you bring cinnamon for the ponche? I have the fruit and the sugar.
