14 January Bangkok. Today I took the river boat on the Chao Phraya. At my pier a boat came fast, with a green flag. It did not stop for us. A man with a cool box said: 'Green is express. It does not stop here. Look at the flag, not at the boat.' The flag is the route. Green and yellow boats run in the rush hours and skip the small piers. The orange boat comes every day and stops at most piers, one price for any trip. The orange flag came. I paid 16 baht and rode under the big bridge to the old town.
