No Swimming Clothes in the Sauna — Epoche A1
Dear Lena, Yesterday I went to a German sauna for the first time, here in Munich. At the door there is a sign: no swimming clothes in the sauna room. Not allowed. Everyone goes in with a big towel and nothing else — men and women together, in one room. The rule is simple: sit on the towel, and no skin on the wood. Nobody looks and nobody talks. It is quiet and very, very hot. After ten minutes: cold shower, rest, and in again. I did three rounds, and my arms still feel warm today. Anna
