Your Name Is on the Ticket — Epoche A1
Dear Lin, Greetings from the train! Xi'an to Luoyang, seat 14F, two hours. A funny thing this morning: my uncle Wang could not come, and his ticket was no good for anybody else — his name and his ID number are printed on it. So the seat next to me is empty all the way. Also: no paper. At the gate I put my ID card on a small glass square, the doors opened, and that was the ticket. Tea and a boiled egg from the trolley: 8 yuan. Mei
