RW 05 Meeting: Notes Place: Bu Sari's front room, Surabaya Date: 20 October, 7 p.m. Came: nine neighbours About: Dengue season. The rains start soon. What was said The dengue mosquito lays its eggs in clean, still water — a vase, a bucket, an old tyre. It does not like the dirty drain. The plan: 3M, every Friday Drain the water tub and clean its sides. Cover every pot and tank of clean water. Bury old cans and tyres, so rain cannot fill them. Each house has a checker (jumantik) who looks for baby mosquitoes in the water. Pak Budi writes the results. Next meeting: 27 October, same place.
