The Eggs Were Not in the Fridge — Epoche A1
15 October I live alone now, so today I went to the supermarket for milk, bread and eggs. The eggs were the problem. I looked in the cold part, next to the milk and the butter — nothing. A man in a green shirt showed me: they were on an ordinary shelf in the middle of the shop, above the flour. Not cold at all. He said eggs are not washed here, so they keep their own cover and they do not need the fridge. In the box, each egg has a small red lion on it and a date. Mine are in the fridge now.
