Work Tips for New People — a review This small book came out in February. In Japan students finish university in March, and the new workers start together on 1 April — one group, one day, the first day of the business year. So every February the bookshops build a table of books like this one. Chapter 1 is the best: the first morning. When to arrive (fifteen minutes early), and how to greet sixty new people in the same dark suits. Chapter 7, about email, is old. Offices use chat now. A good book for one reader: the person who starts on 1 April. Four stars from me.
